The collaborative staff and your fellow parishioners of the parish collaborative of Sacred Heart and Saint Thomas More Weymouth-Braintree congratulate you on your engagement and promise you our support and prayers. It is our great joy to assist you as you prepare for the celebration of Holy Matrimony

Marriage, the Sacrament of Matrimony, is a holy vocation—a vocation to which God has called you, and in which Christ will give you all the necessary graces to help you find both happiness and holiness, as you grow together in love. The Church teaches us that the “Sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life.”

To arrange for a marriage in either parish contact the parish office at least 6 months in advance and prior to scheduling your reception to schedule an appointment.
